Whose Wisdom Leads You?

​Colleagues,
 
For the next two weeks I will be taking time to recharge. During that time, the daily email will feature the ten most important things I’ve learned from others about leadership. I had published these before, but I don’t think they’ve ever been a part of the email.
 
 We are all influenced by others, and if you’ve had the chance to have great mentors, then you carry with you some nuggets of wisdom.
 
It is Friday, so this is a great day for reflection. Ask yourself:

1. Who are the people who have had the greatest influence on my leadership?
2. What are the most important things I have learned from them?
3. Who am I working to mentor, and how will I pass those lessons on to them?
