Colleagues,
This week I’ll be focusing on walking you through an MVP (minimally viable plan) strategic plan. This plan is specific to you and your leadership. It exists within the context of your organization, but this is your strategic plan, not your organization’s plan. Traditional forms of strategic plans have lots of problems:
The MVP strategic plan focuses on creating a very targeted mission and identifying core strategies that will lead to success. Those core strategies can be further broken down into daily A-B actions. The end result is that you have a small list of daily practices which, if executed consistently, should result in fulfilling your mission. Each day this week I will give you a 15-20 minute task that should lead you through developing your own plan. If you aren’t able to do that right now, please continue to read. Print out or file the emails away so that you can engage in the process at a more convenient time. Remember that this is really about sharpening your focus, so you are consistently engaging in quadrant 2 actions and staying out of quadrant 3. Homework:
Cheers! Frederick
