Last week I replaced the pocket door in my kitchen.

Pocket doors have two sets of wheels on brackets that attach to the top of the door. Those wheels then hook onto a track that sits above the door, hidden by the door frame and trim.
 
I installed the door and made sure that when it closed, it was flush with the door jamb.
 
The door itself wasn’t wide enough so I had to build out the jamb.
 
I finished by replacing the 1970’s cheap white trim with beautiful white oak.
 
When I stepped back to admire my handiwork, I saw that the door was not closing flush. There was a noticeable slant, leaving a growing gap opening towards the top of the door.

​I now have three options:

1. Remove all the trim work and try to rehang the door.
2. Try and remove one particular board to give me access to the hardware to try and improve the door angle.
3. Leave it alone for now.

 
What should I do?
