The correct answer is...

Colleagues,

MVP: When considering whether or not to invest time into something, we need to consider what else we could do with that time!
 
Yesterday I shared how my recent replacement of a kitchen pocket door went askew, literally.
 
With an ugly gap between the door and the jamb, I was faced with three options:

1. Remove all the trim work and try to rehang the door.
2. Try and remove one particular board to give me access to the hardware to try and improve the door angle.
3. Leave it alone for now.

 
I asked you which I should do and said there was only one correct answer.
 
The correct answer is that you do not have enough information, because you don’t know what else I could do with my time!
 
One mistake we make when considering a course of action is to focus only on the cost of that action. We also need to consider the opportunity cost – what opportunities are we giving up?
 
Today’s intention: Think about the priorities in your organization. Are you focused on them? Are other things getting in the way? How? Why?
