Only 72 hours left!

Colleagues,

If you haven’t accepted the 96-hour challenge to make your organization better, consider stopping reading right here and use the time to ask yourself, “Why isn’t this the right week to make my organization better?”
 
Yesterday, I laid out a challenge for you to make your organization better. You have 72 hours left to meet that challenge.
 
What action will you take today?
 

• Developing an SOP? Check out the SOP guide on my website here.
• Digging into a recurring issue? Take a few minutes with some stakeholders and brainstorm all the possibilities for why the issue keeps happening. Don’t make a judgement, just identify the possibilities.
• Checking in with people? Identify 3-5 people you can check in with today and follow through. Keep it simple:
  • What’s going well?
  • What have been the biggest surprises?
  • What can we do to improve?
• Growing someone? Check in with them. Provide specific feedback or be a mirror for them to process their thoughts.

 
I’ll suggest some additional actions tomorrow.
