Colleagues,
MVP: Reach out to someone new Yesterday, I asked you to check in with yourself. Today, I want to encourage you to check in with someone else. I don’t know about you, but I really appreciate being checked in on by others and knowing someone is thinking of me, no matter if I’m feeling great or struggling. Whether it's your office neighbor or the custodian at your school, ask someone how they are doing. If Frederick were writing this, he’d also suggest asking again “No, really, how are you?” Then, just listen. Intention: Give space to someone else that may not even know they needed it. If you aren’t in the headspace to have a conversation, maybe just write an encouraging note to someone and put it on their desk or door! If you have enjoyed the emails from me so far this week, or have any feedback, feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]. I’d LOVE to hear from you! Also, If you know anyone that might benefit from being part of our community, please forward them this email or send them to our website! Sending Sunshine, Mara
