Yesterday we talked about manifesting a culture through your halo.
One of the challenges is that our own emotions can undermine the culture we want to build. All these emotions can influence our halo, and therefore others:
How do we keep our halo projecting what we want instead of how we feel?
By being aware and being intentional.
That is the whole point of reading this email each morning. It is a chance to check in with yourself and to be intentional about your leadership.
We don’t need to hide who we are and what we are feeling. Vulnerability is a powerful leadership trait. Our challenge is to understand and accept our emotions, but to be able to express them in a way that is consistent with the culture we want to create.
Check in with yourself. What are you feeling?
If your feelings aren’t what you want to project, think about the things that do make you feel the way you want your culture to be. Hang on to them and let them feed your halo today.
