Sorry, cohort one of The Journey is now closed!

What if you had time in your day to learn more about what your people need and how you can support them?

The five stages from urgent to strategic leadership:
  1. Awareness: Leaders become aware that urgency is driving their leadership decisions.
  2. Perspective shift: Leaders begin viewing their work through the lens of priority mangement, not time mangement.
  3. Intention: Leaders implment strategies to decrease the amount of time they spend doing tasks which are urgent, but not important (quadrant 3).
  4. Impact: Leaders use high-leverage strategies to support incremental teacher growth in small chunks of time.
  5. Strategic: Leaders begin to apply principles of strategic leadership to align school structures and processes to support teacher growth and development.
The Journey is a five-week guided adventure to get school leaders like you back on course to consistently supporting and growing their teachers.

  • Increase organizational capacity to manage tasks
  • Empower teachers to solve their own problems
  • Help develop more reflective teachers
  • Improve your instructional leadership
Join a small cohort of school leaders on a five-week journey from urgent to strategic. Each week we will:
  • Learn about the challenges to being strategic and how to overcome them
  • Implement tools and strategies to increase your ability to support and grow teachers
  • Anchor your learning in a supportive group of peers
