You should make an intentional choice to win or lose each day.

Colleagues,

My final affirmation is “Today, I choose to win.”

I don’t foresee ever changing its makeup or position.

This is incredibly powerful because it forces me to be intentional. I’ll be honest, there are days I’m just trying to survive and winning seems like a pipedream. And on those days, when I get to this 11th affirmation, I have a clear decision to make.

Yes, there are days I choose not to win. I just give up. But they are very rare, and on most of my bad days, this affirmation pushes me to say, “Yes, I’m down today, but in spite of that, today, I choose to win.”

By the way, I do keep score of my days each week, the wins and losses. That’s for another day 😉.
