Why we do what we do

Colleagues,

I know yesterday’s message was heavy. I’ve been profoundly touched by Patrick’s story and felt like it needed to be shared. 

Again, the point is that we all have stories that help explain why we are where we are and why we do what we do.

If you listen to The Assistant Principal Podcast, you know the second question I ask every guest is “Is there a story that will help listeners understand why you do what you do?”

Let’s create a nice ending to the week this way - find one person today and ask them, “What’s the story that explains why you do what you do?”

Ask someone you work closely with or someone you barely know. Or maybe someone you want to know better.

Stories can be painful, but they can also be beautiful and inspiring.
