Why is fall the best season?

MVP: Set an intention for the fall: invest a few minutes each day in growing your people!

I love the fall. The sense of renewal and a new season, primed for opportunities for growth.

Here are a couple questions you should be asking yourself in preparation for capitalizing on fall’s promise:

1. How much did your people grow over the past 12 months?
2. What did you do to help them grow?

As I reflect on my book, A School Leader’s Guide to Reclaiming Purpose, the thing that keeps banging around in my head is that being a leader who helps people grow is not complicated.

There are SIMPLE strategies you, my colleague, can execute every day in just a few minutes.
