When smaller is better than bigger.

Last Friday I ended with this challenge:

List out all the challenges/issues/needs your organization has. If you can only pick one to work on, which one would have the biggest impact for the least investment?

But surely, you should choose the most critical need?

Not necessarily.

The advantages of choosing a lesser need (that is still critical) which requires less investment:

• Less investment means more immediate progress
• Less chance of getting interrupted
• Progress creates positive momentum
• Maybe this small thing creates many ripples

Today’s intention: What can you do this week that will create a tiny bit of progress?
