What’s in a name?

Colleagues,

​MVP: Sometimes we don’t listen, even when people are telling us something important.

My name is Frederick.

I introduce myself as Frederick.
My wife, children, and friends refer to me as Frederick.

I sign everything with Frederick.

My email is [email protected]

My website is frederickbuskey.com

Everything I have ever published is under either Frederick Buskey or Frederick C. Buskey.

And yet…

People consistently call me Fred.

Why?

Today’s intention: Think about the assumptions you make about others. Think critically about the conversations you have with them. Are they telling you something that you are not hearing?
