How do you know the difference between quadrants 1 and 3?

The question to ask is not “is this important?”

The question is this, “is this more important than…”

The “than” refers to growing people.

Is reading this email more important than…

• Helping my teacher reflect on her lesson
• Reviewing a critical process with a new employee
• Checking in with Mike, whose mother just passed away
