Is compassionate accountability an oxymoron?

Confronting negative performance can be difficult, but allowing someone to underperform is not compassionate!

What is compassionate: Helping someone grow because it will help them enjoy their job more. 

I want a teacher to learn better classroom management because it will allow them to find more joy and meaning in their career, not only because it is good for kids.

This is also an example of leading with empathy (yesterday’s topic).

Being vulnerable: I’m struggling to come up with fresh ideas for the daily email, so I asked ClaudeAI to generate a list of the 25 key actions for leadership. I will use ClaudeAI’s words for the MVP and everything else will be my take on the idea. I’ll cover the top ten over the next few weeks. Counting down backward of course!
