MVP: #2 - Provide clear direction and purpose. I’m not sure I agree with this one. For me, it’s more about giving voice to our common purpose, and then working to align the organization. I’ve become a bit jaded when it comes to organizational purpose. I think people within the organization often know why they are there, even when the organization forgets. And the tyranny of numbers complicates things by pressuring people to view the numbers as the purpose. Example: while schools as a whole focus on test scores, teachers know their mission is kids. Being vulnerable: I’m struggling to come up with fresh ideas for the daily email, so I asked ClaudeAI to generate a list of the 25 key actions for leadership. I will use ClaudeAI’s words for the MVP and everything else will be my take on the idea. I’ll cover the top ten over the next few weeks. Counting down backward of course! Cheers! Frederick
