Does perception matter?

MVP: Perceived value and effort are as important in the M=V/E formula as actual value and effort.

Yesterday I wrote about my retreat from the raspberry patch when the actual effort of stringing the plants turned out to be higher than what I had perceived it would be.

Perceived value and effort are as important in the M=V/E formula as actual value and effort.

Sometimes, leaders perceive something being more valuable or less effort than the people we are asking to do the actual effort for the actual value.
