Action, values, and choices…

Colleagues,

MVP: #5 - Align actions with core values consistently.

If I’m honest, there were many times my actions did not align with my espoused values.

One of the culprits is urgency, because urgency drives us to focus on tasks instead of people, and when we stop focusing on people, we stop aligning our values and actions.

Remember four choices you get to make multiple times every day:

• How will I show up?
• Will I be fully present?
• Will I ask?
• Will I listen?

I’m not sure, but I think when we answer those questions in the affirmative, we can’t help but align our actions with our values.

In a way, answering these questions is a hack or shortcut to being true to yourself.
