3 real tips to manage email

MVP: Be short and succinct and teach others to be the same.

This whole week I have been encouraging you to play with the idea that email isn’t that important.

I am convinced it isn’t, but I understand you probably live in a world that disagrees with me.

Here are three tips that compliment each other:

1. Limit replies to five lines or less. If it requires more than five lines, pick up the phone.
2. Teach others to do the same.
3. Be formal, simple, and straight to the point (less is more).
